It is the final day of 2019 and I managed to get this episode up just in time. The past month has been a disaster of scheduling and illnesses. To add salt to the wound, our original volume two of the conversational grab bag was diseased with a constant metronome sound pulsing throughout the discussion from start to finish. Both Steven and I monitor the audio when we record, and there was no such aural pulsating on the track when we hit record. Nonetheless, it was there in the final version, and neither one of us were able to remove it.

We’ll be glad to reconvene in 2020 several times, as we already have plenty of material to discuss. Much of it will be outdated, as we are often lagging behind the immediate trends of the day, but I’d like to think we just allow others plenty of time to finish or witness whatever media we come together for. So be ready, for we will already be planning episodes for our Games of the Year, Star Wars: Jedi: Fallen Order and Netflix’s The Witcher. Following those we will likely also have episodes for Halo 5 and The Mandalorian. 2020 may, in fact, be the best year the podcast has seen since we began in January of 2017.
